8 weeks to go and counting.....

See?! I knew I would suck at this blogging thing! 2 months ago my computer crashed, so I unplugged for a while. It was nice, but I missed being connected. Now that I'm back up and running (literally), let's give this another go.

8 weeks left to train. My boys have been super sick off and on the last few weeks making trips to the gym pretty difficult. But now that I have no more excuses left to give, I'm giving it my all these last 2 months. I know I can make it to the gym on both weekend days, Monday, and Thursday. So, my goal is the gym 4 days a week (at least) and 2 days of P90X workouts. So far this week, I swam 2000 yds in 45 minutes doing various drills on Saturday, biked 15 miles with Matt on Sunday, and ran/walked a 5k today on the treadmill. At 15 weeks pregnant, I feel pretty damn good. My weakness right now? The running. My 3.1 mile time today was 44 minutes. Embarrassing. My right knee gives out after about 10 minutes of running. I think the longest I went was 25 minutes straight about 3 months ago. So, me thinks I need to start strength training again. I need to shave at least 10 minutes off that time to be respected!!

I'm back, and I'm back for good. No gym tomorrow, but legs and abs tomorrow night. 8 weeks is going to be here before I know it.
